12.10.12 update
I wanted to take a moment and thank all of our wonderful customers for your tremendous loyalty and support during the past few years. Your business is so much appreciated and I have loved every minute of creating and running Napa Farmhouse 1885; the company of my dreams.
Funny thing about dreams…they continue to evolve, change and push
you to try new things. I have realized that running a small business is a 24/7 proposition….not much different from my former corporate life.
My true passion is cooking…tasting…seeking fresh, local and organic
ingredients and creating the recipes used in our products and on my blogs. So, I have decided, effective immediately, to put the company on “pause mode” and focus full time on writing my two food blogs Napa Farmhouse 1885and Red or Green?. I am also working on my first cookbook, the best of the first four years of recipes from the farmhouse blog.
One more dream has come true. I have relocated to our former
“vacation”home in Taos, New Mexico. I love Taos and have always said I would live here full time one day. Well, “one day” has arrived and I couldn’t be happier. I have started sharing my experiences on my newest blog California Girl in Taos.
The plan is to be here for a while and then go back to living part time in California and part time in Taos.
During this time I will be working on the “relaunch” of the company…perhaps with a different name…but always with an emphasis on local, organic, handcrafted and repurposed ingredients and materials. Please follow my journey both on my blogs and on facebook. I hope we keep in touch!
